Wear2Ski
Growing up in Texas I fell in love with skiing on a High School trip to Colorado. Since that trip I have made it my goal to hit the slopes annually. Skiing is an incredible physical and mental challenge for me, but also a great opportunity for self expression through ability and appearance. When I started skiing most skiwear consisted of a basic jacket and pants or a pair of jeans. The only big difference in skiwear was color or brand. Traditional ski pants did not allow for easy boot adjustments throughout the day. This prompted me to design a new and unique alternative for ski wear. W2S

Thirty years ago I fashioned a pair of wool knickers from military surplus pants. These pants had more pocket space, and allowed for easy access for boot adjustments throughout the day. I discovered that the heavy wool provided great warmth and was water-resistant. The natural breathability of the wool provided comfort while preventing dampness. I never felt cold while wearing the knickers, but adding gators on a heavy snow day helped to prevent snow from getting into my boots. Wear2ski has evolved out of my passion for skiing and desire to create something unique for the advanced skier.
